Short bio
Doctor of Political Science at Åbo Akademi University, Finland, 2006. Senior Researcher (2011 - 2013) within Democracy: A Citizen Perspective which is a Centre of Excellence at Åbo Akademi University. Held a Postdoctoral Fellowship supported by the Academy of Finland 2008 - 2010.
My current research interest deals with citizen deliberation (attitude change) and voting behavior (volatility and turnout). Previous research interests have included radical right-wing voting in France and Norway, the institutionalization of the party system in the Åland Islands and federal relations in the Russian Federation.
