Biodata

Rolf Palmberg is a senior lecturer at Åbo Akademi University at Vaasa [P.O. Box 311, FI-65101 Vaasa, Finland] where he teaches EFL methodology in the university teacher-training programmes for class teachers, foreign-language teachers and special-education teachers. He has given invited lectures and/or presented conference papers in a dozen European countries and in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, South Korea, Indonesia, and Azerbaijan. He is author of 260 articles on applied linguistics and EFL methodology, author/co-author of 100 CALL programs and Java applets, and author/editor of 20 books [including conference proceedings, handbooks, and eBooks]. His publications include Operation MathLog [an internet-based EFL maze], Det nya stället [a university-related novel], Gränsfeber [a border-related travel book], and Multiple Intelligences revisited [an eBook].
